Common questions
Do you work fixed-fee or hourly?
Fixed-fee for defined deliverables (v1 agent, automation, audit). Retainer for ongoing work. We don't bill hourly "discovery" — it's a trap for both sides.
Who owns the code and prompts?
You. Day one. Repo access, model prompts, environment configs — handed to your GitHub before we invoice.
Will you work with an existing team?
Yes. We're most useful when we're the first AI-focused engineer in a product team. Expect us to pair, PR-review, and write docs.
What's the minimum engagement?
$500 audit. Beyond that, most first engagements are $2k–$5k for a shipped v1 agent or automation, then a retainer or nothing.
